Episode 9: From Stalling to Soaring: Growth Mindset Strategies to Defeat Procrastination

As the host of The Ambitious Procrastinator podcast, I dive into the power of having a growth mindset in relation to procrastination. In this episode I discuss the difference between mindset and mindfulness, emphasizing how our outlook on life can either propel us forward or hold us back. I introduce the concepts of fixed mindset and growth mindset, inspired by the work of Carol Dweck and I highlight the key characteristics of each mindset and provided five thought-provoking questions for listeners to reflect to help their own mindset and create potential areas for growth. I emphasized the importance of self-perception, resilience in facing challenges, embracing feedback, commitment to goals, and redefining success and failure. I encourage listeners to take control of their mindset, acknowledging that it is never too late to change and tap into their full potential.
